The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf SAC Volleyball Players of the Week, Oct. 11 (WATCH)

Saehler, a senior from Iowa City, Iowa, posted 3.78 kills per set, a .279 hitting percentage, six blocks and three aces to help her team to wins over conference foes Mars Hill and Tusculum last week. The All-American piled up 34 kills and 26 digs in the two matches for No. 24 Wingate. In the 3-1 win at Tusculum on October 8^th, Saehler recorded 18 kills in the four set match. The award is her third Player of the Week plaudit of the season.

Alles, a freshman from Tinley Park, IL, also played a huge roll in helping No. 24 Wingate win both road contests last week. Alles averaged 10.78 assists per set, including 51 assists at Mars Hill on October 7^th. She also recorded 15 digs and eight kills while hitting .615 in the win over the Lions. She also averaged 3.33 digs per set and chipped in 1.44 kills per set on the week. The award is her second Specialist of the Week plaudit of the season.
