The SAC Athletic Directors Council has named Catawba’s Chris Dula and Wingate’s Jade Montgomery as the league’s 2012-13 Athletes of the Year, it was announced on Tuesday.

Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne among Top 100 in Final Learfield Cup Standings
Wingate has finished No. 33 and Lenoir-Rhyne No. 76 in the 2012-13 Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings, which recognizes cumulative postseason success across all of NCAA Division II.

SAC Names Rick Ridenhour as Coordinator of Men’s Basketball Officials
The SAC on Thursday announced the hiring of Rick Ridenhour as Coordinator of Men’s Basketball Officials, a position that opened with the recent retirement of longtime coordinator Jim Burch. Ridenhour will officially begin his duties on July 1.
