ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate, Anderson, Lenoir-Rhyne, and Tusculum all advanced to the 2023 SAC Semifinals after recording wins in Monday's quarterfinal matches. The Semifinals and Championship match will be played at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center in Rock Hill, S.C.
Wingate defeated Mars Hill in straight sets (25-14, 25-16, 25-22). The Bulldogs will face Lenoir-Rhyne in the semifinals on Wednesday (November 15) at 4:30 pm at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center.
The Tusculum Pioneers opened tournament play with a win, defeating Catawba 3-2 (25-20, 20-25, 25-17, 19-25, 15-5). Their victory sends them to the SAC Semifinals, where they will face Anderson on Wednesday (November 15) at 7 pm.
Anderson secured a trip to the SAC Semifinals with a 3-1 win (25-19, 18-25, 25-16, 25-15) versus Limestone. The Trojans move on to face Tusculum on Wednesday (November 15) at 7 pm at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center in Rock Hill, S.C.
The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears defeated Carson-Newman in straight sets (25-22, 25-20, 25-19) to advance to the semis. The Bears will face Wingate on Wednesday (November 15th) for their chance at a spot in the SAC Championship match.
