Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne ranked in NCAA Region volleyball poll

The first NCAA Division II volleyball region rankings were released Wednesday, with a pair of South Atlantic Conference teams among the top 10 teams in the region.
Wingate is No. 5 in the region rankings, while Lenoir-Rhyne is No. 9.
Eight teams, including automatic qualifiers from the South Atlantic Conference, Sunshine State Conference and Peach Belt Conference will make the NCAA Playoffs. NCAA selection date is Sunday, Nov. 5.
