The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for meets held this last week. Tusculum's Emily Coddington took the track honor while Coker took the field honor with Jada Holton.
A freshman distance runner, Coddington, competed in the VMI Winter Classic this past Sunday where she placed first and set a season best in the 800-meter with a time of 2:22.21. This is Coddington's first Track Athlete of the Week honor this season.
A sophomore jumper Crawford, competed in Kenneth Giles Norfolk State Invitational where she placed second and broke her own school record in the triple jump at 11.28 meters. This is Holton's first Field Athlete of the Week honor this season.
