The South Atlantic Conference Announces Women's Indoor Track and Field Preseason Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens has once again been picked as the favorites in the 2020-21 South Atlantic Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field coaches' preseason poll released today. The defending champions earned 143 points in the poll, including eleven out of the twelve first place votes.
Lenoir-Rhyne earned the No. 2 spot with 131 points and only remaining first place vote, while Wingate placed third in the poll with 109 points.
Tusculum came in at No. 4 with 107 points, followed by Carson-Newman at No. 5 with 102 points and Limestone at No. 6 with 99 points.
Catawba took the No. 7 spot with 86 points, while Anderson earned the No. 8 spot with 667 points. Coker followed close behind at No. 9 with 65 points and Lincoln Memorial placed tenth with 58 points.
Mars Hill and Newberry rounded out the poll at No. 11 and No. 12 with 44 and 35 points respectively.
The 2020-21 SAC Indoor Track and Field Championships date, time and location are still unknown at this time.
