Three SAC Women's Tennis Team Ranked in Latest NCAA DII Regional Rankings
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference had four schools ranked in the latest NCAA Southeast Region women's tennis poll, which was released by the NCAA on Wednesday (Apr. 28). Wingate is No. 3, followed by Queens at No. 5, and Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 6.
Wingate earned the SAC's automatic bid to the Southeast Regional by winning the SAC Women's Tennis Championship on April 17.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections. The 2021 NCAA Division Women's Tennis Southeast Region Championship will be held May 7-9, with the selection show taking place on May 3.
