Wingate and Tusculum Earn ITA NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Regional Awards

TEMPE, Ariz. (May 15) – The 2019 ITA NCAA Division II men’s and women’s regional award winners were announced on Wednesday (May 15).
Wingate's Michael Cabana was naemd Wilson/ITA Coach of the Year, while Wingate's Michela Verpelli received the Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award and was named the ITA Senior Player of the Year. Teammate Camilla Ciaccia was named the ITA Rookie of the Year and Tusuclum's Annie McCullough was named the ITA Player to Watch.
The national award winners will be announced on May 21.
