Lenoir-Rhyne Earns No. 1 Seed in NCAA DII Women's Soccer Southeast Regional; Catawba, Wingate and Carson-Newman Earn Bids
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, Catawba Indians, Wingate Bulldogs, and Carson-Newman Eagles will all represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Southeast Regional, the NCAA announced today.
Lenoir-Rhyne is the No. 1 seed, while Catawba is the No. 2 seed, Wingate is the No. 6 seed, and Carson-Newman is the No. 8 seed.
Lenoir-Rhyne will host Carson-Newman in the first round on Friday, November 17th at 6 pm in Hickory, N.C.
Catawba will host UNC Pembroke in the first round on Thursday, November 16th at 6 pm in Salisbury, N.C. Also playing in Salisbury will be Wingate as they face North Georgia earlier that day at 3 pm.
Second round games will take place either Saturday, November 18th or Sunday, November 19th. The 2023 DII women's soccer national championship final will take place on Saturday, December 9th.
