NCAA Releases Second Week of Division II Women's Golf Regional Rankings
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Three South Atlantic Conference women's golf teams were named in the second week of the NCAA Division II south region rankings. Anderson, Wingate, and Carson-Newman sit at No. 11, No. 13, and No. 14, respectively.
The Trojans are currently ranked No. 22 in Division II, having won four events on the year, including the SAC Championship, and have an adjusted scoring average of 76.31. Anderson received the automatic bid to the NCAA Division II South Regional as a result of their conference title.
The Bulldogs are No. 25 across the division, according to Golfstat, and have an adjusted scoring average of 77.34. Wingate finished third at the South Atlantic Conference Championship.
The Eagles are also nationally-ranked at No. 24 with one win and an adjusted scoring average of 76.71. Carson-Newman finished just shy of the podium in fourth at the conference event.
