LAKELAND, Fla. – Newberry shot a 318 on Tuesday in the final round of the 2013 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship South Regional to finish eighth in the team standings with a three-day score of 954.
The Wolves were paced on Tuesday by Julia Daneshfar, who shot a team-best 77 to conclude the tournament 24-over par and tied for 34th on the individual leaderboard. Lisa Brandl and Eline Askeland both finished in a tie for 32nd at plus-23, Barbara placed 45th at plus-31 and Korey Coleman finished 46th at plus-34.
Brandl shot a 78 on Tuesday, while Coleman shot an 81, Askeland 82 and Castro 84.
Tusculum's Emee Herbert, who earned a selection to the tournament as an individual, carded a final-round 81 to finish in a tie for 37th at 26-over par.
Lynn won the team championship by four strokes over Nova Southeastern, while Rollins' finished atop the individual leaderboard with a three-day score of one-over 217.
