Salisbury, N.C. —- The 17th-ranked and top-seeded Catawba College women's basketball team held 8th-seed UNC Pembroke to 33 percent from the field and 14 percent from three-point range to grind out a 58-48 win in the First Round of the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Southeast Regional in Goodman Arena.

Lenoir-Rhyne Falls to Georgia Southwestern in Southeast Regional Quarterfinal Round
Salisbury, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne narrowly fell to Georgia Southwestern 62-59 in overtime on Friday evening (March 15) in the quarterfinal match of the DII Women's Basketball Southeast Regional. Mikeba Jones posted a game-high 19 points for the Bears while Blaikley Crooks added 14 points and eight rebounds in the contest. Lenoir-Rhyne ends the 2023-24 season with a 22-9 overall record.
