ROCK HILL, S.C. - The championship bracket is set: Anderson and Lenoir-Rhyne will face for the chance to win the SAC Softball Tournament title. As the No. 2 seed in the tournament, Anderson will host the best-of-three series.

Anderson opened the weekend with a dramatic win against Lincoln Memorial, then fell in 10 innings versus Carson-Newman. The Trojans then faced Lincoln Memorial again, winning 6-2 to stay alive. In Sunday's contest, Anderson defeated Carson-Newman 4-1 to force a second game, in which they recorded a dominant 16-0 win to earn a spot in the championship next weekend.
Game one will take place on Friday, May 3 followed by a second game on Saturday, May 4. If necessary, a third game to determine the champion will be played following game two on Saturday.
