Queens' Raftis Named South Atlantic Conference Astroturf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com)– The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week in meets competed in during the second week of the 2019 season. Queens' Anthony Raftis was named the runner of the week.
Raftis, a senior all-American from Kent, Washington, competed in the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Challenge this past weekend, where he placed second in the men's 8k with a time of 24:11.9. Raftis also helped lead his No. 12 Royals to a second-place finish overall.
This is Raftis's first Runner of the Week honor for the 2019 season.
