Griewisch, Gragg Named SAC Cross Country Runners of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - After each finishing with the top individual time in races last weekend, Mars Hill's Justin Gragg and Lenoir-Rhyne's Kate Griewisch have been named the SAC Cross Country Runners of the Week.
Gragg ran a time of 26:09 over 8K to take home the individual title at the Lenoir-Rhyne Cross Country Invitational. The junior from Lenoir, N.C. outdistanced the second place runner by 28 seconds.
Gragg's performance helped MHC finish atop the team results as well.

Griewisch won the women's leg of the L-R for the second straight year with a course-record 18:13 over 5K. Griewisch, a two-time All-American (2009 and 2010), helped the Bears finished second out of 10 teams in the race.
Griewisch is a three-time All-SAC First-Team honoree and was the 2009 league Runner of the Year. She has also won the past two NCAA Division II Southeast Regional races and was the 2009 and 2010 SAC Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Griewisch became the first-ever Lenoir-Rhyne student-athlete to win the SAC Presidents' Award last year.
