Wingate’s Watson, Lenoir-Rhyne’s Eisenmann Named Runners Of The Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Wingate University's Jayce Watson and Genna Eisenmann of Lenoir-Rhyne College have been named the South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week announced league officials Monday. Watson earns this honor for a third week in a row and sixth time this season, while Eisenmann has been named Runner of the Week for a fourth time this year.
Watson, a 5-8, 135-pound junior from Millersport, Ohio, won his second race of the year, capturing the Erskine Invitational title. Watson posted a time of 26:16 to win by over a minute, leading the Bulldogs to the overall team crown as well.

Eisenmann, a junior from Clayton, N.C., was Lenoir-Rhyne's top runner at the Blue Ridge Open in Boone, N.C. She posted a time of 19:16 over the 5,000-meter course to finish 33rd overall against a mostly NCAA Division I field.
The SAC Cross Country Runners of the Week are selected by a vote of the league's sports information directors.
