Lenoir-Rhyne’s Popple, Eisenmann Named Runners Of The Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne College's Brad Popple and Genna Eisenmann have been named the South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week announced league officials Monday.
Popple, a sophomore from Iron Station, N.C., was the top overall runner at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational. Popple posted a time of 26:39.18 on the 8,000-meter course, which was the best in the meet featuring NCAA Division I programs Virginia Tech and Appalachian State. Popple paced the Bears to a first place finish in the team event.

Eisenmann, a junior from Clayton, N.C., was the top NCAA II runner at the L-R Invitational, posting a time of 19:44.28 on the 5K course. Eisenmann, a graduate of Clayton High School, earns SAC Runner of the Week honors for a second time this season.
The SAC Runners of the Week are selected by a vote of the league's sports information directors.
