Coker’s Jackson, Catawba’s Conte Earn Final SAC Soccer Player of the Week Awards
Coker forward Daniel Jackson and Catawba forward Juliana Conte have been selected as the SAC Soccer Players of the Week from the final week of the regular season, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Coker forward Daniel Jackson and Catawba forward Juliana Conte have been selected as the SAC Soccer Players of the Week from the final week of the regular season, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Jackson had a huge offensive week as Coker won matches against Flagler and Brevard. The victory over BC clinched the No. 5 seed in the SAC Soccer Championship the Cobras.
Jackson opened the week by tallying a goal and an assist in Coker's 3-0 non-conference victory over Flagler. He then scored four times on Saturday against Brevard in a 6-1 Cobra win, setting the school's single-season record for goals with 14.
Jackson finished the regular season tied for second in the SAC in scoring.
SAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week | Juliana Conte, Catawba F
Conte scored goals in both of Catawba's matches last week as the Indians fell to Pfeiffer and defeated Mars Hill.
Conte netted a goal in the 40th minute of Catawba's 3-2 loss at Pfeiffer on Wednesday before scoring in the 11th minute and adding an assist in the Indians' 5-0 Saturday win over MHU. The victory over the Lions clinched the No. 4 seed and a home quarterfinal match for Catawba in the SAC Soccer Championship.
Conte concluded the regular season with four goals and five assists, and her 13 total points tied for 14th in the conference.
