Three SAC Men's Lacrosse Teams Ranked in NCAA South Region Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference had three schools ranked in the NCAA South Region Men's Lacrosse poll released by the NCAA on Wednesday (May, 4). Limestone came in at the No. 2 spot, Lenoir-Rhyne took the No. 5 spot and Wingate earned the No. 6 spot.
In addition to the three SAC schools ranked in this week's poll, Tampa was ranked at No. 1, followed by Lindenwood at No. 3, Uindy at No. 4, Florida Southern at No. 7 and Rollins at No. 8 for the South Region.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
