Carson-Newman finished with a three-day team score of 892, while Wingate finished at 898.
Both teams had their best round of the Championship on Wednesday, as they each shot a four-over 292.
Carson-Newman was led in the final round by Gavin Hay, who finished at three-under par on the day and one over for the Championship - which tied for 11th on the final individual leaderboard.
Wingate's Antoine LeSaux matched Hay at three under on Wednesday, and closed the tournament at a solid four-over par, which tied for 19th in the individual standings.
Carson-Newman's Jonathan Kim-Moss and Wingate's David Crawford each shot rounds of one-over 73 on Wednesday.
Newberry's Matthew Campbell, who qualified for the event as an individual, finished tied for 19th with a final score of four-over 220, including a round of 73 on Wednesday. Lincoln Memorial's Eric Kennedy, the SAC's other individual qualifer, finished with a three-day score of 227.
Georgia College finished atop the team leaderboard with a final score of 869, while USC Aiken's Matt Atkins ended with the top individual score of six-under 210.
