Five SAC Men's Basketball Players Named to D2CCA All-Southeast Region Team
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Five South Atlantic Conference student-athletes have been named to the 2019-20 Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region Teams.
Lincoln Memorial led the way with three selections, including two first team picks; Courvoisier McCauley and Devin Whitfield.
McCauley, the 2020 SAC Player of the Year, was a first team All-SAC selection after averaging 20.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, while leading the Railsplitters to a 32-1 record.
Whitfield, the 2020 SAC Pilot Flying J Men's Basketball Championship MVP, finished the year averaging 19.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
Earning second team honors were Queens' Daniel Carr, Lenoir-Rhyne's R.J. Gunn, and Lincoln Memorial's Cameron Henry.
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II Southeast Region schools and conferences selected the two D2CCA All-Southeast Region teams. The process concludes with All-America selections announced later in the month.
