Lincoln Memorial, Queens, and Catawba ranked in NCAA Southeast Region Men's Basketball Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference had three schools ranked in the latest NCAA Southeast Region Men's Basketball poll, which was released by the NCAA on Wednesday (March 4). Lincoln Memorial earned the No. 1 spot in the poll, followed by Queens at No. 3, and Catawba at No. 5.
In addition to the three SAC schools ranked in this week's poll, there are three schools from the Peach Belt and four from Conference Carolinas.
The Lincoln Memorial earned the top spot in the ranking with a record of 29-1 overall. The Railsplitters are currently ranked No. 2 nationally and they are riding a program and SAC record 29-game winning streak dating back to November 2, 2019.
Queens, ranked No. 25 nationally, has an overall record of 22-6, and the Royals have won eight games in a row. Catawba has a record of 19-9 overall.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
