Lincoln Memorial’s Bailey Lands on Pair of All-America Teams
Lincoln Memorial senior forward Vincent Bailey has been voted to both the Daktronics and USBWA 2013-14 Men’s Basketball All-America Teams, officials at both organizations announced on Monday afternoon. Bailey was selected to the Daktronics First Team and the USBWA Second Team.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Lincoln Memorial senior forward Vincent Bailey has been voted to both the Daktronics and USBWA 2013-14 Men's Basketball All-America Teams, officials at both organizations announced on Monday afternoon. Bailey was selected to the Daktronics First Team and the USBWA Second Team.
Bailey averaged 21.5 points and 10 rebounds per game this season, leading Lincoln Memorial to a 28-3 overall record and both the SAC regular-season and tournament titles. The Railsplitters earned the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division II southeast regional.
Bailey finished the season with 16 double-doubles, which led the conference and ranked 11th nationally. He also ranked in the top-20 in the nation in defensive rebounding and field-goal percentage.
In addition to his All-America accolades, Bailey was previously selected as the SAC Player of the Year and the Daktronics Southeast Region Player of the Year.
