GAME QUOTES
ALBANY STATE COACH MIKE WHITE
"The playoffs are the Big League's and you have to perform. When a team can stretch the field horizontally and vertically it makes it tough to defend. The size of their quarterback allows him to see over things and he makes good decision on where to throw and also when to throw it away."
CATAWBA COACH CHIP HESTER
"It's a big win. To accomplish a goal you must take a first step. We weren't able to run the ball very effectively early on and we made some adjustments, but they are big and physical. It was a big turning point to answer their kickoff return and then to get another score on the fumble gave us some big momentum."
"Albany State is a team with great character. They play with heart and the way the game should be played. Both teams were very fast and very physical."
