Four South Atlantic Conference Programs Listed in Top 36 of LEARFIELD Directors' Cup Standings for Winter 2024
CLEVELAND, OHIO – The winter LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings were released Thursday (Apr. 4) morning, with nine South Atlantic Conference schools appearing on the list.
Four of those nine schools rank in the top 36 with Wingate leading the way, as it ranks 3rd in all of Division II with 539 points. Lenoir-Rhyne checks in at No. 14 with 367.50 points, Catawba is No. 23 with 313 points and Carson-Newman is No. 36 with 241.25 points. Wingate remains in third place where they finished after the fall championships while Carson-Newman was the highest rising program in the league, jumping 84 spots.
Limestone sits at No. 69 with 175 points, followed by Lincoln Memorial at No. 139 with 75 points, Newberry comes in at No. 184 with 43 points and Tusculum has 25 points earning the No. 191 spot to round out the SAC schools represented in the Director's Cup standings.

The 2023-24 Division I LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings will be published next week and at the end of April. The spring standings will begin distribution on Tuesday, June 11.
