Wingate and Lenoir-Rhyne Advance to Volleyball Championship
#23 Wingate sweeps past Mars Hill in SAC Tourney semifinals
Rock Hill, S.C.----The top-seeded and 23rd-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs are on to the SAC title match after sweeping past fourth-seeded Mars Hill University in the semifinals of the 2024 South Atlantic Conference volleyball tournament. Wingate won by scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-22 to improve to 27-2 overall, advancing to Friday night's SAC championship match. Mars Hill falls to 17-10 on the season. The Bulldogs enter the championship match on a 19-match winning streak.

Bears win five set thriller over Anderson to advance to SAC Championship
Rock Hill, SC - Lenoir-Rhyne and Anderson went the distance in Thursday's SAC semi-final, with the Bears eventually coming out on top 3-2. After falling to Anderson in their final home match of the regular season, the Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball team returned the favor for their second victory against the Trojans this season. Freshman Brooke Aeschliman set a a new career high with 14 kills and four total blocks in the victory.
