WINGATE, N.C. – After falling behind by two sets in their NCAA Southeast Region Quarterfinal matchup with USC Aiken, the Anderson University (26-5) volleyball team stormed back in the final three sets to take the 3-2 victory over the Pacers.
Wingate Sweeps Lenoir-Rhyne to Advance in NCAA Play
Wingate, N.C. - The top-seeded Wingate Bulldogs defeated No. 8 Lenoir-Rhyne 25-19, 25-16 and 26-24 to advance in the NCAA DII Volleyball Tournament. Gabby Saye and Lorna Stacherski each had 10 kills for the Bulldogs while Katie Jamerson recorded a double-double with 15 digs and 20 assists.
Tusculum closes season at NCAA Tournament
WINGATE, N.C. --- In a battle of conference champions, the NCAA Division II Southeast Region match went to the Peach Belt title holder, No. 2 seed Augusta. No. 7 seed Tusculum, the South Atlantic Conference champion, finishes the 2023 campaign with a 22-7 mark.
