Wingate Ranked No. 19 in AVCA/ TARAFLEX DII Poll

LEXINGTON, KY – Wingate was ranked at No. 19 in this week's AVCA/ TARAFLEX Division II Poll, released Monday (Sept. 11).

The Bulldogs have moved to 7-1 overall after competing in the Emmanuel Tournament this past weekend. They defeated Southern Wesleyan 3-0, Francis Marion 3-0, and Erskine 3-0 while falling to Eckerd 1-3.

Also receiving votes in the poll was Anderson (8).

The AVCA, with its headquarters in Lexington, Ky., is managed by Associations International. With a membership of over 8,000 and counting, the AVCA provides a professional network for those individuals and companies dedicated to enhancing and promoting the sport. Members include collegiate, high school, club, youth, and Olympic coaches, as well as volleyball club directors.
