Three SAC Volleyball Teams Headed to NCAA Southeast Regional, Wingate to Host

ROCK HILL, S.C.  (theSAC.com) – The Wingate Bulldogs the Carson-Newman Eagles, and the Anderson Trojans will all represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Southeast Regional, the NCAA announced tonight.

Wingate is the No. 1 seed after winning the SAC Volleyball Championship title and earning an automatic bid into the tournament. Carson-Newman is the No. 3 seed and Anderson is the No. 4 seed.

The Bulldogs will host the southeast regionals with rounds one and two starting on November 18 and lasting until November 20. The winning teams will advance to the quarterfinals Thursday, Dec. 1.

GM 1: No. 3 Carson-Newman vs. No. 6 Flagler – 12:00 p.m.
GM 2: No. 2 Augusta vs. No. 7 UNC Pembroke – 2:30 p.m.
GM 3: No. 4 Anderson vs. No. 5 Lander – 5:00 p.m.
GM 4: No. 1 Wingate vs. No. 8 USC Aiken – 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 19
GM 5: Winner GM 1 vs. Winner GM 2 – 5:00 p.m.
GM 6: Winner GM 3 vs. Winner GM 4 – 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 20
GM 7: Winner GM 5 vs. Winner GM 6 – 3:00 p.m.
