The South Atlantic Conference Announces Volleyball Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Volleyball Players of the Week for matches played during the eighth week of the 2022 season.  Wingate setter Shannon Kasprak was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Anderson middle blocker Noelle Knutsen was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Kasprak, a graduate student from Austin, Texas, led the Bulldogs to a 2-0 record last week with wins over Carson-Newman (3-1) and Lincoln Memorial (3-0). She handed out 82 assists, averaging 11.71 assists per set, with eight kills, 17 digs, and four blocks over two matches.

Knutsen, a senior from Parker, Colo., led the Trojans to wins over Mars Hill (3-1) and Tusculum (3-1) last week. She recorded double digit kills in both matches, along with five blocks, finishing the week with 28 kills, 10 blocks, and a .436 hitting percentage.
