Thirteen South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Players Named to AVCA All-Region and Honorable Mention Teams, Tusculum's Head Coach Marante and Lenoir-Rhyne's Prall Earn Major Awards

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The 2021 AVCA Division II All-Region Teams were also announced Wednesday morning with ten ladies representing the Southeast Region and three earning honorable mentions. Lenoir-Rhyne's Taylor Prall was named the AVCA Southeast Region Player of the Year while, Tusculum's Head Coach Danielle Marante was named Southeast Region Coach of the year.

160 student-athletes were named to the eight All-Region teams, including honorable mention selections. Each of the selection committees also named a Region Player of the Year, Region Freshman of the Year, and Region Coach of the Year.

Players named to All-Region teams are eligible for selection to the AVCA Division II All-America teams, which will be announced December 7.
