Nine South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Players Named to D2CCA All-Southeast Region Teams, Tusculum's Burrowes Named Southeast Region Player of the Year

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The D2CCA All-Region teams were announced Wednesday afternoon with nine individuals representing the Southeast Region. Tusculum's Emiah Burrowes and SAC Volleyball Player of the Year was also named the Southeast Region Player of the Year. Voting for the D2CCA All-Region teams was conducted by the region's sports information directors. Making the First Team was Tusculum's Emiah Burrowes, Lenoir-Rhyne's Taylor Prall, Wingate's Sophie Schaff and Anderson's Madison Roy. On the Second Team was Newberry's Natasha Bannister, Anderson's Regan Duty, Wingate's Maggie Young and Shannon Kasprak and Mars Hill's Ully Martins.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
