Lenoir-Rhyne's Bewick Named Sports Imports/AVCA Women's DII National Player of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Rachel Bewick has been named this week's Sports Imports/AVCA Women's Div. II National Player of the Week.
Bewick helped the Bears improve to 6-2 on the season with two wins this week, averaging 5.75 digs per set in wins over Mars Hill and Limestone. She had three assists and two aces against Limestone to go with her 27 digs while picking up 19 digs and four assists versus Mars Hill. This is the second Lenoir-Rhyne player to win the Sports Imports/AVCA National Player of Week award
Each week Sports Imports and the AVCA recognize deserving student-athletes at the collegiate level who have demonstrated outstanding play on the court throughout the week of competition. A Sports Imports/AVCA National Player of the Week is named for the different NCAA Divisions in court volleyball during both the men's and women's season.
