Five Individuals Honored in CoSIDA Academic All-District Volleyball Team Release
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted five volleyball players in the 2019 Academic All-District Volleyball Team selected by CoSIDA released Thursday (Nov. 14). Only the nation's top student-athletes are eligible for this honor with their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Anderson had two honorees find their way onto the list with Senior setter Emily Conlin and Sophomore libero Meghan DeVaux. Conlin, a Business and Computer Information Systems student holds a 4.0 GPA. While DeVaux, a kinesiology major, also posted a 4.0. Coker's Taylor du Bray a Senior setter put together a 3.97 GPA in Business Administration and Economics. Helen Hamilton a Sophomore setter form Lenoir-Rhyne adds another perfect 4.0 GPA to the list majoring in Exercise Science. Rounding out the honorees is Logan Witt of Queens who is majoring in Health Sciences holding 4.0 GPA as well.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
