Six SAC Volleyball Teams Ranked in First NCAA Southeast Region Ranking
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted six teams in the NCAA Southeast Regional Volleyball Ranking released on Wednesday (Nov. 6). Wingate came in at No. 1, with Anderson checking in at No. 2, Queens is No. 4, Carson-Newman is No. 5, Lenoir-Rhyne is No. 9, and Mars Hill earned the No. 10 spot.
The Bulldogs have a record of 24-1 overall, while the Trojans are 18-3 and the Royals are 18-5. The Eagles have a record of 19-6, while the Bears and Lions both have records of 14-11.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Volleyball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
