Wingate Holds Firm in Latest Division II AVCA Coaches Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate University was tabbed No. 24 in the 12th week of the AVCA Division II Coaches Poll for the second consecutive week.
The Bulldogs (29-1, 19-1 SAC) are on a six-match win streak heading into the NCAA Southeast Regional as the No. 1 seed and host institution, starting on Thursday, November 15. The team is fresh off of yet another SAC tournament championship, their 11th since 2006. Senior middle blocker Phoebe Havenaar was named the tournament MVP, while fellow Bulldogs, Rachel Alles and Kori Adams, joined her on the SAC All-Tournament Team.
