Lincoln Memorial's Whiteaker Named 2018 SAC Volleyball Elite 20 Winner

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial's defensive specialist Erica Whiteaker was honored as the Elite 20 Award winner for volleyball, presented by the South Atlantic Conference on Friday (Nov. 9).
This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 20 team championship sports.
Whiteaker, a senior from Kingston Springs, Tenn., has a 4.00 GPA while majoring in pre-med/biology.
Thus far in her career, she has surpassed the 2,000-career dig mark, becoming the first Railsplitter to do so. Whiteaker has 2,268 digs in her four seasons, heading into Friday's SAC tournament semifinal match.
