Wingate Rises in Latest Division II AVCA Coaches Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate University was tabbed No. 24 in the 11th week of the AVCA Division II Coaches Poll, up one spot from week 10.
The Bulldogs (26-1, 19-1 SAC) are on a three-match win streak heading into the SAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed, starting on Tuesday, November 6. They have dropped just one set in the span. Phoebe Havenaar leads the offensive attack with 288 kills and defensive effort with 79 total blocks. Kori Adams heads up the dig category with 550 and on the service line with 33 aces. Rachel Alles, as the primary setter, has handed out 1047 assists thus far in 2018.
