The South Atlantic Conference Posts Three Volleyball Teams in the NCAA Regional Rankings

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted three volleyball teams the NCAA Regional Rankings, the NCAA announced recently.  Wingate, Carson-Newman and Lenoir-Rhyne represented the League in the women's Southeast Regional Rankings.

Wingate came in at No. 2 with its 23-2 record in the Southeast Region.  At No. 3 in the Regional Rankings is Carson-Newman as the Eagles are sporting a 20-5 record in the region.  Lenoir-Rhyne rounds out the list of South Atlantic Conference representatives in the Southeast Regional Rankings as it is 16-7 in the region.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Volleyball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
