Hi Bloggers!
This past weekend, my team and I continued conference play. Unforunately, the results were not what we wanted but we will continue to work hard and hopefully the tide will turn! I know my teammates are trying to make things work and I'm going to support them every step of the way.
On a slightly happier note, I returned to play last Monday after being injured and have been practicing really well!
My second SAAC meeting last week was a success. I've begun volleyball fundraising for the Make-A-Wish foundation and I hope it goes by really quickly! Classes are hectic. Last week, I pulled my first all-nighter for an exam. I've never had to pull one before but this Religion class is kicking my tail! I'm normally a good student and usually don't have to study as much, but this one test was killer. Then, I get to test day and nothing I studied was on the exam! Talk about a ruined day! (Sigh) The life of a college student…
Anyway, my team and I continue our schedule with a game at Columbia College on Tuesday and that match is followed with conference games at Mars Hill and Tusculum. So, ladies, guess it's time for a week of hard work!!
Until next time,
Brittany Wood
