Food Lion SAC Volleyball Championship Match To Be Video Streamed
ROCK HILL, SC - The championship match of the 2007 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Tournament will be available to watch over the internet, , Commissioner Doug Echols announced today.
"Video streaming has certainly become more popular and the South Atlantic Conference is excited to venture into this new territory," Echols said. "This is an excellent opportunity for us to showcase the high caliber of volleyball that is played in our league" Echols said.
The volleyball championship will be played Saturday, November 10 at 6 p.m. at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn.

The 2007 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Tournament will begin on Friday, November 9 with four quarterfinal matches. The semifinals will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, with the finals at 6 p.m.
Wingate University has already secured the regular season conference championship and will be the tournament's top seed.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for college students with ID, students and children.
This will be the first conference championship to be video streamed live over the Internet. The NCAA, partnering with CSTV, has shown several football games involving conference teams over the Internet the past two seasons.
The South Atlantic Conference is one of the premier NCAA Division II conferences in the country and strives for academic success and athletic achievement. Member schools include Catawba College in Salisbury, NC; Carson-Newman College in Jefferson-City, TN; Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC; Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN; Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, NC; Newberry College in Newberry, SC; Tusculum College in Greeneville, TN; Wingate University in Wingate, NC; and provisional member Brevard College in Brevard, N.C.
