Wingate’s Rebecca Brezovec named SAC Volleyball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Wingate University's Rebecca Brezovec has been named the South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Player Of The Week, league officials announced Monday afternoon.
The Bulldog senior middle blocker garnered a slot on the All-Catawba Classic squad for her work in the event over the weekend. Brezovec commandeered 24 kills in a loss to Puetro Rico-Rio Piedras and ended the week hitting at a .378 clip.
A returning Daktronics All-South region second team member and
first team All-SAC member, Brezovec last year was named the 2005
SAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for volleyball.
The SAC Volleyball Player of the Week is determined by a vote of the eight sports information directors of the league.
