Lenoir-Rhyne's Wahlberg Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne's Alicia Wahlberg has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during the sixth week of the 2022 season, the Conference announced today.

Wahlberg, a sophomore from Stockholm, Sweden went 3-0 in singles on the week while leading the Bears to a win over No. 16 Newberry and Division I North Carolina A&T. Lenoir-Rhyne has won eight matches in a row, and Wahlberg is 7-1 in singles in those matches.

This is Wahlberg's first Player of the Week selection this season.
