Catawba, Queens, and Lenoir-Rhyne Punch Tickets to NCAA DII Women's Soccer Southeast Regional
ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) – The Catawba Indians, the Queens Royals, and the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears will all represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Southeast Regional, the NCAA announced today.
Catawba is the No. 2 seed, while Queens is the No. 3 seed, Lenoir-Rhyne is the No. 7 seed.
The nationally ranked No. 10 Catawba Indians will host Lenoir-Rhyne in the first round on Friday (Nov. 19) in Salisbury, N.C., and Queens will take on the No. 6 seed North Georgia also on Friday in Salisbury.
Advancing teams will move on to play on Sunday (Nov. 21), with the winners moving on to the NCAA Women's Soccer third round on Dec. 2 or 3. From there teams will advance to the quarterfinals on Dec. 4 or 5. The NCAA Women's Soccer semifinals and final will take place Dec. 9 and 11 at Switchback FC Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colo.
