Wingate and Limestone Hold Spots in National Rankings

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate and Limestone remain in the latest national poll released by the Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), continuing to represent the South Atlantic Conference among the nation's top teams.

Wingate checks in at No. 20 this week, moving down one spot from last week's ranking. The Bulldogs have continued their strong start to the season going 2-0 last week to improve to 6-1.

Limestone is ranked No. 25, after a 1-1 week falling in overtime to Slippery Rock. The Saints are 5-3 this season.

In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
