South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference has announced its WePlayed Sports Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during week six of the 2025 season. Elisha Stack of Tusculum has been named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Kathryn McCabe of Wingate has been named the Defensive Player of the Week.
Stack, a freshman attacker from Lockport, Ill., delivered a dominant offensive performance for the Pioneers, recording 15 total points (8 goals, 7 assists) across two games. She tied the Tusculum program record with 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists) in a 17-13 win over North Greenville, then followed it up with a three-goal effort in an 11-6 SAC-opening victory over Catawba.
McCabe, a sophomore defender for No. 19 Wingate, played a key role in the Bulldogs' 15-7 SAC-opening road win at Lenoir-Rhyne. She tallied six draw controls, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers, while also contributing offensively with an assist.
