Wingate and Limestone in National Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) - The first Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Coaches Poll has been released, and the South Atlantic Conference has two teams in the top 25.
Wingate, ranking 16th in the poll, opened their season with a 15-14 overtime win over No. 21 Florida Tech.
Limestone is ranked 17th and has started the season 2-1 with wins over Lander and Coker. The Saint's lone loss came from No. 14 Saint Leo.
In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
