The South Atlantic Conference Announces Men's Swimming Preseason Poll and Swimmers to Watch
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Wingate earned the No. 1 spot in the 2023-24 South Atlantic Conference Men's Swimming Preseason Poll, the league office announced today.
The Bulldogs, who were named the 2022-23 SAC Men's Swimming Champions, received five first place votes and tallied 25 total points in the poll.
Carson-Newman was voted No. 2 in the poll after receiving one first place vote and 21 total points. Lenoir-Rhyne followed at No. 3 in the poll with 16 points.
Catawba was voted No. 4 with 14 points, while Mars Hill was voted No. 5 with eight points. Rounding out the poll was Emory & Henry with 6 points.
In addition to the preseason coaches' poll, the SAC also released its 2023 Swimmers to Watch list. Below is the full list of swimmers to watch by team for the 2023-24 season.
The 2024 SAC Swimming Championships will take place at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. from February 14-17.
