Four SAC Schools Ranked in USTFCCCA Women's Cross Country Southeast Region
NEW ORLEANS – The NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Regional Rankings were released on Tuesday (Sept. 25) by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Four South Atlantic Conference teams are represented in this week's ranking. Queens leads the way in the No. 1 spot for the second week, followed by Anderson at No. 3, Wingate at No. 5 and Lenoir-Rhyne rounds out the ranking at No. 10.
The top three teams from each regional meet will automatically advance to the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 1. There are also ten at-large selections made by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee that will also advance to NCAA National Championship.
