Anderson, Wingate Advance to NCAA Volleyball Regional Semifinals
Anderson and Wingate won quarterfinals matches on Thursday at the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship Southeast Regional, while Tusculum, Queens and Newberry saw their seasons come to an end. Anderson and Wingate will face off in Friday's semifinal round at 6:30 p.m.

The top-seeded and ninth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs swept the eighth-seeded Crusaders of Belmont Abbey Thursday night in the NCAA Southeast Regional volleyball quarterfinal match in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 25-17, 25-15 and 25-15 to improve to 30-2 overall. [More]

With three players reaching double-figure kills, the fifth-seeded Anderson volleyball team rallied from an opening-set deficit to earn the first NCAA Tournament victory in school history by topping No. 4 seed Tusculum, 3-1. [More]

The seventh-seeded Newberry Wolves won their first set of the 2013 NCAA Division II Volleyball Tournament, but the second-seeded Armstrong Pirates came back to win three straight sets, ending Newberry's season with a 3-1 (25-21, 18-25, 15-25, 23-25) loss Thursday. [More]

The Royals volleyball team travelled to the campus of Wingate University to face off against the Saints of Flagler University today. In their first NCAA postseason appearance in school history the sixth seeded Royals found themselves facing a tough opponent and ultimately lost the match in three sets. [More]
